Honestly, I don't really like how this gift tag came out....but, let's be real here....not all crafts turn out exactly how you plan it. I do like the idea of it though, and I feel like it's a great example of how to utilize Stampin' Write Markers...so I'll go through it anyway and hope that you get better results! :)
- Follow the first three steps from above.
- Use a circle punch, circle template, personal electronic cutter to cut a circle out of Great White Cardstock. Note: This is where I went wrong. I used a 1 3/4" Circle Punch which proved to be much too large for the stamp I chose. Next time, I will use a 1 1/4" Circle Punch so that it is much closer to the size of the stamp.
- Using a Stampin' Write Markers (I show Green Galore above, but I ended up using Night of Navy and was happy I chose a darker color), color just the outside decorative edge of the It's a Boy Stamp. Use a Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the stamp in the center of the circle. Before stamping on the paper "huff" on the stamp so that your hot breath re-wets the ink.
- Next take a large Alphabet Letter (I used "M" for Matt, my sweet hubby) and stamp in the center of the decorative circle. I used the same Night of Navy Stampin' Write Markers to color the "M" because I don't have a Night of Navy Stamp Pad.
- Attach the circle to the card.

Stampin' Up A Light Heart Stamp Set
- Cut a piece of Great White Cardstock to 3" x 6" - Folded in half this will create a 3" x 3" Mini Card. Cut another piece of Great White paper to 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" - this will be the front of the card.
- Cut a piece of Core'dinations Red Rose Cardtock to 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
- Using the Stamp-a-ma-jig, position the Heart Pennant Stamp in the top left corner using a red or pink stamp pad.
- Using Jet Black StazOn Ink, stamp the "Love You" portion of the Love you with 3 hearts stamp from the A Light Heart Stamp Set. Position so that the three hearts are stamped on a scrap of paper rather on the face of the card.
- Gently run the edges of the face of the card along the stamp pad. This will give it a little bit more dimension when placed on the Red Rose paper.
- Finally, layer all three pieces together using an adhesive of your choice.
